Where does the weekend go? Last time I looked I was packing my bag and hopping in the car with Julian and Tucker to go visit some of his family up in Northeast Ohio.
Now it is Monday morning and I am back to work.
The weekend was pretty fabulous though. Starting out we got good news that baby Reagan made it through her surgery like a champ. (Reagan is our 8 month old niece who has a twin sister Reese. She had outpatient surgery on Friday and is recovering well.) We then spent the evening hanging out with Julian's dad, stepmom and younger brother and our nephews (Reagan and Reece's older brothers). It was a fun evening that included Julian and Nic battling it out in Monopoly until almost 3am. Have y'all seen the new Monopoly? There is a credit card reader and you get money in the millions. Plus all of the property names have changed. It is crazy how it is still very much like the classic, but modernized at the same time.
Saturday we visited Julian's grandparents and then went out to dinner at an amazing sushi place in Akron. Ohmyword that food was good.
We came back to Columbus Sunday, and just enjoyed a lazy day. We will be paying for it tonight after work by cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping, but we were tired so it was ok.
