This weekend...

Hello! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Ours was very low key, fun, stressful, enter just about any adjective and you would get the picture.

Friday and Saturday night were both low key, dinner at home with lots of movies...

Saturday morning we left Columbus bright and early to drop Tucker off at Julian's mom and stepdad's house, and then to make the 2+ hours drive to northeast Ohio for his grandpa's birthday. 

We spent the afternoon there celebrating. Julian's grandpa is definitely the center of his huge family. The man is an amazing person and has been a huge role model for Julian (along with his dad and stepdad). 

When we got home Saturday night and picked Tucker up, we noticed he was acting really weird. Very shaky and wouldn't eat or drink. He sometimes gets like this when we leave for a few hours, or leave him with someone else, so we thought originally he was just being dramatic. Well, Sunday morning he was still acting funny, and now he would cry whenever we would pick him up. He wasn't limping, but it seemed like his hips were hurting him. We left him home to lay low while we did our taxes (officially mad about paying taxes. we owe big time this year, which I still don't really understand how we got to the point where we are, but whatever....).

Anyways, we come home Sunday afternoon and Tucker is still being weird. We take him for a walk and basically baby him while we run errands and get the apartment straightened up for the week. Julian called the vet and they said to give him one more day. Thank goodness when we woke up this morning, Tucker was almost completely back to normal! He ate and drank (hasn't done this in 1 1/2 days) and was starting to play. Julian wound up not having to work because of the weather, so he will be able to stay home and keep an eye on him today to make sure he is still ok.
