This week has been a stressful one for me. I have been working on my certification project (the whole reason why I have been traveling, I have had to go to classes to get certified on a new application my company is getting ready to launch so that I can train everyone else how to use it), and it has not been going as smoothly as I want. I knew that it would be challenging, but I wasn't prepared for some parts of it. Luckily, I should get it finished today so that I can submit it for my grade and then just focus on my last three exams.
Enough about work, today is about positives! Here are 5 things I am currently loving...
one:// Friday! Wooo! Which means high carb day and weigh in day. I'll share the actual results next Wednesday, but the scale did move in a direction that I was happy about.
two:// This yummy PSL I got from Starbucks this morning. I have only had 1 so far this season, and I looooove pumpkin. #sorrynotsorry I am that girl.
three:// We are going tailgating for the OSU vs Iowa game tomorrow!! Julian's dad, stepmom and brother are in town and we will be spending the day tailgating and cheering on the Buckeyes!
four:// Healthy eating this week has been going very well. I haven't been as strict as I was last time, depending on where I am on my calories for the day, I have allowed myself little after dinner treats (always something small, like the fun-size Reese I had last night). I have also centered almost every meal around vegetables. Lots of vegetables. Thank goodness they are so low in calories because I load my plate up with them.
Last night's dinner. Salad, steak tips with peppers and corn and green beans. Oh and a yummy Octoberfest beer. I try not to drink during the week, but last night called for a little something after a very very stressful day at work.
